Hi everyone!! I am super excited to be sharing this technique with you all. It's called Mirror Stamping. In order to do this, you do need some sort of flat rubber stamp. While this isn't actually a stamp, it's used for stamping.
When you stamp ON it, the ink will still be juicy enough to stamp onto the paper. This will be reversed causing the mirror image. This is a super fun was to use your stamps beyond their normal abilities.
I share an image of my photo below, this this is the closest stamp set I could find on the market today. It's from Paper Smooches Stamps.
Check out my video today for more details.
For my cards, I used the stamps from MFT called My Favorite Things Die-namic Set - BB Hog Heaven I love these cute lil images, so I thought putting a couple of flying pigs in love would be fun.
I am super excited this turned out as well as it did. This technique is very easy, so I hope you give it a try!!
This is what my stamp used to look like, and came with instructions.

Hey friends!! Happy Friday! We are on our way out of town for the weekend. I am excited to take a day off even if it's to go watch basketball! HA!!
So today I have a super fun card and video. I created this video for my niece's birthday and was thankful I got to give it to her last weekend when she was here.
I LOVE this bundle from Stampin Up! And these are going to be my Go-To birthday items for awhile now!! YAY!!
Hi guys!! Remember me? WOW, I forgot what I was doing there for a bit and took a leave of absence. I am back for now. HA….. All is well. I am excited to pop on and share with you today!
I created this card for the Global Design Project challenge this week and love how it turned out. Super cute. I share a lot in the video. And by a lot, I mean, way more than the card! lol…. Just watch!!
This card was really fun to make and I love sharing it with you! I promise to get better this next week about sharing. When my life gets crazy and I let things go, it takes my mojo with it. However, today, I am ready to get back in the craft room!!
Hi crafty friends!! Today I am sharing as part of the Prickley Pear Designer Highlight post on their blog. It's only on their blog today, but I'm breaking it up into Two Days on my blog because I really want to highlight both projects and videos!
I am excited to share my project with you today as well.
As you know, I love creating different and interactive cards just as much as the plain "one-fold" cards. I love shaking things up a little bit and adding one more cool thing to the creation. So today's card is no different. It just adds a couple extra folds and boom, you have a fun, and interesting card.
Check out the video to see how to make this card yourself!
After a couple busy weeks on the blog, I am back with Faith Friday!! Super excited to share what I did this week in my Bible! Lots is going on in the world and in life, and it's always funny how God leads to me to certain things when I spend time with him in the Word.
I wasn't planning on talking about having Faith, but that is where I ended up.
I was reading about Sarah and Abraham and Sarah's desire to provide a son for Abraham. As I read through this story again, and thought about the patience and faith that she had, I thought about our own lives and how frustrating it can be to wait on the Lord for anything. And I often find myself frustrated and impatient and not even asking, Is this OK, Is this right for me... and just doing it.
So this was a good reminder.
I also really loved this verse, Hebrews 11:13 - So many of those living in these time were told Jesus would come back, yet it didn't happen for them in their life time. And they still believed and they still shared his story. That is an amazing testimony of faith.
I believe that is exactly what having faith it. Not seeing. Not needing proof. Just knowing and living my life in a way that shows that I believe God's Word is true. Hopefully, living that way and letting God's Word shine through me will help others to believe that it is true.
Sarah herself, never say the great Kingdom that followed her family but she believed that that was God was going to do. She didn't need proof or to see it with her own eyes, she just believed. That is what we need to do. Wait on the Lord and believe in his promises. Sometimes that prayers that you ask for will not be answered in your lifetimes. But believe that the work God is doing in your life is with great purpose.
I realize in my page, I didn't finish the sentence in writing. That is the part of the verse that I wanted to make highlighted. That they died having Faith in what was to come, but never received it in their lifetime.
As I shared in the video, most the products I'm using are from my own stash of things. I am using up my letter stickers and finding bits and pieces of older scrapbooking kits I had. If you have a question about something I used, shoot me an email - jstaskif at yahoo dot com Or find the link in the sidebar.
Today I am sharing some more Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps goodness. Something I've been wanting to try out ever since I got the Banner Dies from PPRS. Using them in various ways! So I created a quick tip video for you guys to get some ideas on stretching your die use!
Check out the video and then check out the still shots of today's card.
I dug in my Valentine Creative Station, and pulled out some fun papers. As shown in the video, I created a pop up, double ended banner to stamp my sentiment on.
Having multiple uses or ideas for your products always makes me feel like my money is going further when it comes to stamping and creating. So I hope that I gave you new ideas and hopefully you can look at products you already have and see how you can stretch them as well.
So now, you can just enjoy this paper. WOW. Beautiful.
Thank you for stopping in today and checking out my project! Enjoy your day friends!!
Hey crafty friends - I am up on the Scrapbook Blessings Club Blog today.
I am sharing a fun tutorial that will help you stretch the use of your dies and maybe use up some scraps of paper. This tutorial is great is you plan ahead when die cutting. Use the negative space to create a fun card shown below.

TGIF!! And it's about the end of the day now too! YAY!! I love Fridays so much!! It is coffee day, however I've been cutting sugars from my diet so it's just black ole coffee for me. And I'm ok with that too!! Coffee is coffee, even without the fluff!
So this year, I really wanted to find a monthly CARD KIT. I loved my Clique Kits so much, but they were geared for scrapbookers and that just isn't me anymore! So I searched around and found a couple that I was comparing, when Simon Says Stamp released their February kit! Uh, duh... that one was the winner! It is all about Coffee and I needed it.
And I am so happy I did. This stamp set it worth it to me. It's so full of perfection!!
So I jumped right in and made a couple quick cards. I found the sketch for Mojo Monday and started off in that direction for the first card.
I also pulled out a second card using the cutie-patootie die that came in the kit.
I think this sentiment is pretty much perfect and might be one I use on Greg's Valentine. Seriously, I think I'm done with his card and then I create something else and want to make him another!! lol...
Here is today's video:
Thanks for the visit today dear friends!!
Tomorrow, I will be sharing a video for the Scrapbook Blessing Video Hop, so stop back in to visit!!
