Yes, In my ETSY SHOP!! 

I am hoping to keep adding to it as the holiday season goes on. No cards.  I just can’t keep that up with the two stores, but I’ve got some other fun items.

Like these.

Garland. 

You can use it to wrap up presents.  Or you can use it for decorations.  I thought about the Christmas tree, but I do not have one yet so I can’t show you that.

I did hang some up in the door way going into my room.  I want to hang up some more.  All over my room. 

It’s not big tags, they are rather small.  Compared to a quarter

Key to My Heart/Letters from the Heart | etsy Kits

I've been wanting to put something together for awhile, and yesterday the mood struck to get some kits together.  I pulled out my Valentine stash and set to work. 

They are all packaged up and ready to go.

Key to My Heart

This kit features some fun papers and ribbons.  I've also thrown in some frosted card blanks.  The frosted blank is A2 - 4.25x5.5 and is scored in half.  The keys and buttons will vary in this one. 

I've packaged these up in Glassine bags and they are ready to help you get crafty.

Letters from My Heart

This kit features more fun papers with more of the office supply feel.  There are some tiny lil paper clips, lined papers and a mini envelope.  The seam binding in this kit is really vitage (as in from a 2nd hand store.)

I didn't get the stamped flag cardstock in the first photo, but this shows all of the embellishments in this kit.

TGIF - Hope you are ready for the weekend.  We are going to the children's play Friday night, and then Greg and David are busy on Saturday.  I've got the itch to start purging things around the house.  This might be bad... but the more I think about moving, the more I want to PURGE!!  I do not want to pack all this with us!!  Eep... Holiday Hugs

Hey there!! 

I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend.  The weather foiled my plans to attend the craft fair Saturday.So I've got all my inventory sitting here.  I'll be loading up my etsy store this week, so watch for some sales! 

It ended up being below zero and we got some snow, so it was a nice weekend to stay indoors.  There was football on the tv and on the radio and then an evening of movies and snacks.  More football yesterday and the kids' and I cleaned bedrooms and the basement.  Now I am on to the upstairs in prep for Thanksgiving.

I wanted to play along with last Wednesday's MFT sketch.  I had visions of stamping the snow man on kraft and I love how it makes the snow stand out a bit more.  I used my Signo white gel pen to color on the snowman himself.  I added white around the edges with my white craft ink pad.  Then I used the pointed end of my stipple brush to add the snowflakes with white craft ink.  I colored the rest with my Copics. 

I also played around with the loopy blooms die on green felt, which is where my colors came from.  The rest is pretty simple.

For You...

Hello there Peeps!!  Wow, I kind of forgot about poor ole Blog-O.  Tomorrow all three kids go to school full time, so we've been trying to soak up every bit of the last few days as we could.  We tried to go bowling last week, but both alleys in the neighboring towns were closed.  We tried to book a room at a waterpark/hotel and everything was full.  So, we opted for some local shopping and a camp out at Grandma's house.  :D  In that shopping I finally found a sewing machine.  I'd been looking for so long, I decided I am here, lets do this. So now, I can finish up so many of the un-finished projects I have had.

I will also have more time for my cards and for you!!  Thanks for sticking with me this summer while I was so quiet!! 

I did want to share this lil gift with you today. 

This was for another one of the challenges on SCS Dare to Get Dirty week.   To make anything but a card, and I was so exited.  I haven't altered anything in so long.  So I found this lil tin bucket in my stash and the clothespins. 

I used papers from Basic Grey's Out of Print to cover the pins, as well as on the bookmark and note pad. 

 

Here is the notepad, which I started with a black base.  It looks so beautiful with the papers I think.  I also found this fun yellow Prima flower.  The sentiment is from PTI's Take Note set.   I have defiantly gotten my money's worth out of that set!! 

 

Next is this fun bookmark.  You might remember the one I made HERE for myself, and I love it.  I love the magnetic closure so I know that it's going to stay in place.  With kids always popping around my stuff, you never know what will happen to a regular book mark.  ;)  This one is fairly small too, just about 2"x2".   

 
Here are all the contents packaged up and you can see the simple black ribbon and tag on the front.  I used the MFT Notched Tag with the flower punched out.  Then I layered some more DP behind it.

Wonderful Winter Wishes

Ha... I do not have wonderful things to say about winter in MT.  We have had so much snow here, and heavy snow, it caved the roof in on the local rodeo pavilion.  It's been around for years, we've gone to numerous rodeos there plus other events...it's going to be a sad loss.  And it's scary to think what the snow can do.  Plus the roads are all black ice.  I am so thankful for my warm and toasty house...hoping that we can keep it that way. 

And I guess it gives me more crafty time so maybe there are a couple wonderful things to point out.  :D 

 

Yesterday, I worked on the challenge for There She Goes, which was to wet emboss. I admit I do not drag my embossing supplies out enough.  I should... but I don't.  However, I enjoy the finished look when I use them. 

 
I used the new TSG set Wonderful Winter Wishes and colored with my Copics.  I used the technique of touching the end of a lighter color marker on the tip of a darker colored marker, and it blends off on the paper.  It worked better on the blue jacket.  Kind of a water color effect.  Lil Miss told me to choose this image, so I made it look like her and she is always hugging on some cute lil boy at school.  LOL... 

Did you see what I embossed?  The lil design element on the kraft cardstock.  It gives the card a CAS look, yet adds just the right touch to it.  The paper is from Crate Paper's restoration collection.  Then I added the sentiment with a felt rolled flower.  Very simple card, lots of time consuming parts to get it together tho.
