Hi guys!!  I am back with some fun cards from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.

Tanya is so generous with her goodies, we got a huge box of fun stuff to play with and I have had a great time.  These butterflies are so awesome!!

 

 

I used the butterfly die to die cute this awesome new acetate sheets that I bought.  It's got some fun teal polka dots and it was almost too pretty to use.  HA!  I also stamped a butterfly from Butterflies 2 and die cut it from vellum. Then I used the hole left on the purple sheet to frame it. 

I also used up  Blobby Flowers   and coordinating dies to add some more color to it and finished it off with a sentiment and some black enamel dots.  

I am so excited to share this with a friend for their birthday.  

 

For my second card today, I was playing with the Spring Scalloped Circle set and had stamped and die cut the scalloped circle.  I wanted some fun patterned paper but nothing I had was really working for me.  So I created my own with the same circle stamp.  It was so much fun creating, but I am not a good precision stamper.  

I did add some patterned paper and and fun, frilly ribbon to the bottom.

Mirror Image Stamping with the Misti | Scrapbook Blessings Club

Hi everyone!!  I am super excited to be sharing this technique with you all.  It's called Mirror Stamping.  In order to do this, you do need some sort of flat rubber stamp.  While this isn't actually a stamp, it's used for stamping.  

When you stamp ON it, the ink will still be juicy enough to stamp onto the paper.  This will be reversed causing the mirror image.  This is a super fun was to use your stamps beyond their normal abilities. 

I share an image of my photo below, this this is the closest stamp set I could find on the market today. It's from Paper Smooches Stamps.

For my cards, I used the stamps from MFT called My Favorite Things Die-namic Set - BB Hog Heaven   I love these cute lil images, so I thought putting a couple of flying pigs in love would be fun.  

 

I am super excited this turned out as well as it did.  This technique is very easy, so I hope you give it a try!!

I wanted to share this fun card for you all today. This is a great Funny Bones Sentiment from the Riley & Co store.  I think my hubby feels the same way about his gun collections. 

I shared how I created this card is the video below.  I wanted to play with the sketch challenge at The Paper Players this week.  I thought it looks simple and perfect for our larger Funny Bones sentiments. 

I also wanted to have some rainbow on there with my distress inks.  My original plan didn't work out like I wanted it to.  So plan B went into effect and I'm just as happy!

Coffee Lovers Sketch Challenge | Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps

Hi ya Feiends!! 

Welcome to the Monday/Tuesday of the week for those of you who had yesterday off.  I ENJOYED the heck right out of that day.  Stayed in my PJs til almost noon, and enjoyed my coffee.  We did have to do some chores like laundry, but I'm ok with it.  And ended the day with some pizza. 

So I am ready to take today.  But not without some coffee. 

Or tea in the case of today's card.

 

This card is actually for the Coffee Lovers Sketch on their blog. I loved the look of the cups along the side.  And I've been wanting to play with my water color techniques and heat embossed the Prickley Pear Stamps cups with clear EP.  Then I watercolored them with a rainbow effect down the side of the card. 

I felt then, it was only fitting to leave everything else black and white.  Oh, and some gold. 

I couldn't find a sentiment that I loved until I went back to my Simon Says set from the latest card kit.    So it's tea related, but I am ok with that.  wink

I stamped it on a banner die from the PPRS banner die set. The stamps are the PPRS Coffee Cup set.  I think next time I try this technique, I will go bolder with my colors, but I do love this look.  Super easy.

Special Reason Card | Global Design Project

Hi guys!!  Remember me?  WOW, I forgot what I was doing there for a bit and took a leave of absence.  I am back for now.  HA….. All is well.  I am excited to pop on and share with you today! 

 

 

I created this card for the Global Design Project challenge this week and love how it turned out.  Super cute.  I share a lot in the video.  And by a lot, I mean, way more than the card!  lol….  Just watch!!

You can find the supplies I used on my Demo’s site – Bonny’s Site.  I used the Special Reason bundle, not the succulent one I said in the video.  Oops.  I did guess well on the Falling in Love cardstocks.   The ribbon was from the Sale A Bration catty. 

This card was really fun to make and I love sharing it with you!  I promise to get better this next week about sharing.  When my life gets crazy and I let things go, it takes my mojo with it.  However, today, I am ready to get back in the craft room!!

Global Design Project #GDP074

We're the Perfect Mix | Global Design Project

Hi there friends!!  Welcome!

Today I am sharing another challenge card that I played with this week.  I despise color challenges, but I really need to break free from Turquoise and Pink.  HA!!

So this week at Global Design Project was a color challenge and I tried my best.  I always tend to pull cardstocks and work from there.  I also used. 

 

I used the SU Perfect Mix stamp set and paper pieced the blender top.  I also stamped a couple images with Versamark on the back cardstock.  The patterned paper was from an older paper pack and I finished it off with twine and some wood embellies.  I love these things!!

Cupcake Fun Fold | Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps | Designer Highlight | Day 1

Hi crafty friends!!  Today I am sharing as part of the Prickley Pear Designer Highlight post on their blog.  It's only on their blog today, but I'm breaking it up into Two Days on my blog because I really want to highlight both projects and videos!  

I am excited to share my project with you today as well. 

As you know, I love creating different and interactive cards just as much as the plain "one-fold" cards.  I love shaking things up a little bit and adding one more cool thing to the creation.  So today's card is no different.  It just adds a couple extra folds and boom, you have a fun, and interesting card.

I am using the Build A Cupcake Valentine Stamp set, from the recent release.  I also used the coordinating dies found HERE.

I also brought in a Riley Sentiment called Abs are Great.  How funny is this?  It's so me!!

Love Notes | Atlantic Hearts Sketch + Paper Players

Hi crafty Peeps!!  Welcome! 

I had a free night HOME ALONE this week so I dug out my Valentine Inspiration Box and some fun stuff and played the evening away.  

I really wanted to use up the goodies I got from Stampin Up this month for my Valentine's as well.  Afterwards, I felt they are not really perfect for the littles I wanted to send them to, so these will go to the ladies at school 

 

I found a new Sketch Challenge to play with over the weekend, Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and this was a fun one.  Very easy to work with and I think my card turned out super cute.  

I also hoped it would work for this week's challenge at The Paper Players which was Valentine Themed.

Riley & Co Team Post | New Valentine Cards

Valentine Card Making is winding down now that the holiday is nearing.  However, I have a couple more cards to share today with you! 

I am up on the Riley & Co Blog today along with MooseMates Joy &  Lisa!  Check out their creations today too!! 

 

Both of my cards feature our newest Dress Up Riley stamps and dies.

On the first one, I actually just used the Valentine Accessories set and stamped the conversation hearts.  Added a bit of distress inks to the background and some sequins and I'm done with a super easy card! 

 

The second one is a little softer even, featuring both Riley's from the Dress Up Set.   I paired them up with the love heart from the accessories set and the sentiment below.  How cute are they?  Perfect for Valentine giving!!
