Welcome back! I recently got my order from Stampin’ Up! and this month, I picked up a new Easter set called For Peep’s Sake. I thought it was a fun set to add to my inventory.
I wanted to play along with Karen’s Sweet Sunday Sketch. This is one of my favorite sketch sites. I’ve always loved them and enjoyed playing with them, and now Karen has moved them to their own home. Check out the new Sweet Sunday Sketch Blog. To kick it off, they are letting you choose from any of the past sketches. I just happened on Karen’s and so I copied her sketch. I thought it would work perfect for the large sentiment image in this set. ( I just realized that I was calling it Sweet Sketch Sunday! Oops)
I created a video for this one, check it out below or over on YouTube.
I started with the image and heat embossed it in black. I love this look with a large focal sentiment like that. I also wanted to emboss the chick or peep in Tempting Turquoise, well, because it’s cute!! Ha!
Make sure you also check out this week’s Retro Rubber challenge – HERE.
Have a great day!!
