It seems lately that I haven’t done anything BUT cards lately, so when I saw the challenge to do Anything BUT A Card, I was excited. I needed to wrap up a lil gift I made for a friend of mine. So I packaged up the gift and made a cute tag that could also double as a bookmark.
I used a MFT die to create the tag, and stamped the sentiment, Philippians 4:13 Plain Jane, on the tag. Then I ran some paper from Authentique through the Big Shot with the same die and added it to the tag. I added a couple small buttons, and some twine on the top to create the tag/bookmark.
I folded the glassine bag around the gift – it would also work around a simple candy bar – and then wrapped some scrap papers around it as well. I finished it off with vintage seam binding and tied the tag onto the seam binding.
This is the final post of the 5 in my blog contest. You can now head back to the original Contest post and post your answers in the comments. I’ll be drawing a winner on Tuesday, August 28th.
Thank you for checking in and playing along!!
