Splishin & Splashin’

Hi Peeps!! 

Happy Friday night! 

I wanted to get this card in before the deadline.  This is my card for Jen’s Sketch For You To Try for April. 

 

There She Goes is sponsoring, so I wanted to pull out one of my fave sets from there.  This is Under The Weather, and it features some super cute images my Melyssa Connelly. 

I stamped the bird (and had to re-stamp as you can see my lines) on MFT’s Perfect Panel cs, and colored and paper pieced the umbrella.  Then I stamped another cloud and the sun and added them to the panel. 

I used these fun yellow papers for a mostly monochromatic card.  Then I added the wooden flower and twine to finish the card off.  Very cute and simple. 

It’s dreary and rainy here, and I’m thinking a movie night on the couch sounds fun for this evening.  Enjoy your Friday night!!
