CASEing Laurie

Hey there!

I hope you have had a wonderful Easter weekend.

Today I am playing along with the ladies over at CASE Study.  (CASE= Copy And Share Everything)  This month, they are CASEing Laurie Schmidlin.  I love her cards and I’ve been a follower of her blog for quite some time.  When I first saw the card to CASE, I thought Oh Boy, I cannot do that.  However, I am really pleased with how this card came out.

I used some new papers from My Minds Eye Miss Caroline and Follow Your Heart, distressing the edges.  The pink doily and thank you are die cut stickers also from MME.

I finished it off with a tag and brad from the Miss Caroline Mixed Glazed Brads package, and added the Maya Roads canvas butterfly and flower from Petaloo.

We got to spend part of our weekend in a winter wonderland, but by Saturday afternoon it was completely gone.  I got to pop into the house yesterday and wanted to share some quick pics.

All three of the kids’ rooms are sheet rocked and mudded.  More sheet rocking in other rooms too.  However today, I think more work on the garage will be happening.  So excited that it will be pretty darn close to done by June 1st!!

oh, a new house!! I know what that's like!! We started building last April and moved in last December...it was a LOT of work and angst and I'm not moving again!! LOL How exciting for you :) The first night was the sweetest :) LOVE how you were inspired and that little canvas butterfly is diving! Thanks for playing with us over on CASE Study :)
