My set is What's Up Buttercup? Oh, how I fell in love with this set. I haven't always been a flower stamp person, but this set was the one that sealed the deal for me. I love the large image, as well as the samller groupings...and the fonts. Love that font!!
I started out with a notecard set, perfect as a gift for mom. In this set, are 6 great cards, two of each of the three colors and envelopes.
I stamped the buttercup bunch in Whisper White ink onto PTI Kraft cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Memento black. (See what a mean about that font? ♥) I layered the cardstock onto colored cardstock, then tied matching ribbon around it. Then I adhered it all to the base of the card. Very simple cards, that are easy to mass produce for a gift like this.
Here is a detailed shot of the Berry Sorbet cards.
My fave is the Hawaiian Shores cards.
And finally the Spring Rain cards.
Then I packaged them all up in a clear box, complete with matching tag. This image is also part of the set, which I stamped on kraft in Memento black. I die cut it out and matted on Hawaiian Shore cardstock, and tied it all up with matching ribbon.
I also had to make another card to show off the big flower image that I love. I stamped the image in Memento ink, and die cut with a rectangle nestie. I used the inside of the nestie to draw the lines around the outside, omitting the parts where the flower touched out. The papers I used are all My Minds Eye, Stella and Rose, matted on Ocean Tides and Dark Chocolate cardstock. I even added a Stella and Rose brad. The pleated ribbon is from Close to my Heart, it matched up so well. I finished it off with the matted sentiment, and colored the image with my Copic markers.
I hope you enjoyed my creations for the hop. Now you should hop on over to the fabulously talented Julie's Blog to continue your trek!!
Enjoy your weekend, and Happy Mother's Day!!
