Holy Moley...it's already Friday! This week flew by, and even tho I did a lot this week, I feel like I didn't. LOL... Hm. Makes sense.
Anyway, I am back and here to show you A LOT of cards!
This card makes me laugh. Over at There She Goes, the challenge for the week was to Mix N Match, using different sets together. The TSG sets work perfectly for this. Of course, the other challenge is to create a birthday card. I kind of forgot that part, but really it can go anyway. LOL...
I also used Taylor's sketch TESC128. The base of the card is white cardstock, then some red bazzill. The strip of patterned paper is from Jenni Bowlen, matted on blue bazzill. Instead of the scallops on the sketch I used the ginghan ribbon. I stamped the kitchen scene from A Woman's Place, on the red with white ink. Then I created the girl from Domestic Goddess and popped her up on the card front. To finish, I added some brads from American Crafts.
Now, this time I wrapped three challenges into ONE! LOL.. I hardly ever do that, but the feeling of being behind got to me. First, I used the MFT Wed. Stamp Club challenge to create a scene. Then I used a new challenge site, PaperCraft Star, which called for a Simon Says challenge. It was fun. Simon Says Follow this Recipe: Make a Card, Base: 5.5 x 5.5, Mat: 5x5, Score Mat 5 times at 1/4 inch, 3 Flowers from Die Cut or Punch, 3 Buttons and Twine,
(You may also add a sentiment or other items as desired). Hopefully I followed it well enough. Then finally, the sketch is loosely based on the one at MoJo Monday.
I stamped the girl from MFT's Emma Playing Mommy, and colored it with Copics, creating the scene behind her. To finish the scene I added the felt clouds. I used papers from Crate's Lillian line again, paired up with Berry Sorbet and Spring Moss. I punched the flowers with my SU flower punch, added the buttons from PTI with twine.
I got the approvel from RC that this was a great card. :D
This sketch is an alteration on Mercy's Tuesday Sketch challenge. I just started grabbing, and went from there. :D I used all PTI on this, from the sets It's Official, LIbrary Ledger and Signature Greetings. I also used the PTI It's Official paper pad, paired with Berry Sorbet and Dark Chocolate cardstock. I used MFT's Notebook Edge die on the side of the cardstock. I also used my Nesties on the ovals, inking the edges. To finish, I used a few flowers and Pebbles Ink brad.
I have another card, I'll share tomorrow. Today we are catching up on a few more things on the To Do list. Note that if you do see a link on any of the supplies I used, please find a link in my shopping post in my sidebar --->
Have a great Friday!

Katie these are all beautiful pieces of work. I have a question, I followed over from where you linked this blog post on the ABC Toys & Crafts Challenge, however, it is dated before our challenge started?? The top one looks as though it would qualify but there was no mention of ABC and the date was off so I am wondering if you have a post that I am missing?? I would LOVe for you to come join myself and our DT. So far there are not many participants so chances of WINNING are really GOOD.
