As promised I finished up my un-mounted rubber storage and am posting it.
Prior to this, I stored all of my unmounted RUBBER stamps in old CD cases, and most weren't in that great of shape when I started out, so they were breaking and falling apart. I decided now that I am getting more {ippity} sets and adding to my other *collections* I wanted something else.
I had stumbled upon a thread on SplitCoast Stampers HERE discussing Univenture binders. I ordered the black binders, HERE on the website from Univenture. Of course, I would have preferred white or clear, but for $1 black works! I ordered 15 of them and only have 4 empty ones left! AH!
I also shopped around and found the best deal for the storage panels to be used inside them from Gina K. Designs, where she offers up free shipping on $50 orders. Well, thinking I needed 15 packs..and a couple other things, I was at that mark.
You can see more of my Studio in the sidebar to the left lower down the page. This is on the big cabinet shelf right behind my table. As you can see I have one binder that I purchased from Taylored Expressions, and aside from being black, the rest are the same. I made labels on the computer, for the fronts and then the spines.
My {ippity} stamps have the names on the spines, but then I used pictures of the sets from the website on the front so that I could see what I was looking for as well.
I have been able to fit 3 storage panels in each binder. I know some gals claimed 4 full storage panels, but I tired that with my {ippity} sets and couldn't do it. I can only get 3 storage panels. So MOST binders have three sets. Because some of the sets are larger or larger stamps, I only got 2 sets per binder. Still, I was able to get 16 sets in 6 binders.
I also cut apart the {ippity} binders and added that to the storage panels. Once again, seeing where things go, what sets go together, etc.
I also am keeping my Riley Moose stamps, Bellas and Bugs and Stellas from Stamping Bella, and my Magnolia stamps in these binders. These are pretty much the only other un-mounted Rubber stamps I have. I took the images from the website - not to use(I left the watermarks on there) just for a visual. Now I can see what stamps I have, and I saved the template so when I need to add a newer image, I can. I printed these on plain copy paper.
Same for this binder.
For my Bellas, I just listed the names, since, well, I have too many. LOL... And then the Magnolias just have the name on the binder. Nothing else done with that, as I don't have a lot.
I hope that explains it fairly well. I do not plan to un mount any of my stamps that are currently wood mounted. I love that feel of wood, and fortunately do not need to worry about space right now.
I am pretty happy with this investment. I hope that you enjoyed checking it out.
Hi Katie! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I have those same binders for my storage, but I love how you have an index on the front. Great idea that I will be borrowing!

Katie, I love your storage solution! I have mine filed in a big file box with hanging folders. This looks so much nicer (and more accessible). Thanks for sharing!
