Good day all...I am FINALLY getting on to post. Yesterday Greg and I cut up his deer for jerky and I got the first batch on the dehydrator this morning. Then I had to clean up the mess we left last night! Oops...
I made this card Monday for Greg to send to his friend who took him out hunting. When I saw the sketch at 2S4Y, it made me think of a front door. I was thinking screen door, but then I thought more holiday themed.
Here is a link to the sketch.
And here is my creation... I took the pic upstairs and didn't realize it was so blurry til now.
Anyway, I used the wreath from another stamp? Do you know what? Hmm....I paper pieced the bow with some of SU Holiday Treasure dp. Then I created a smaller piece and sponged the edges around it. For the handle I used an older button and waxy flax. The sentiments are from the SU set To You and Yours.
Here is the inside.
I did the same sponging and left the rest blank for Greg to write in.
I signed up with the Memory WorksExpress Monthly Kit...this month is full of My Minds Eye papers and a cute lil album. So...I am going to mess with that today...
I got the kid's pillowcases done, waiting on my wood for their table and my other gift. And I am ready for this holiday to get underway!! Oh, we have one more package coming in...but we are ready! Isn't that fun!!
Great card!

Now that you mention it I think it looks like a front door too :) Love your interpretation of the sketch.
