Riley & Mushroom Lane

Hi guys!  I am up on the Riley & CO blog today, sharing a couple of fun cards.

First up, is Riley from the Dress Up Riley set.  I choose this one, so I could cut it out with a die and play along with The Paper Players challenge for the week.  I ended up creating a shaker card as I wanted to use up those star sequins with this card.

Riley Hula

With the busyness of this card, I choose my favorite Hula Hoop sentiment to go with it.

I think this card will be fun for it's recipient!

Next up, I pulled out a Mushroom Lane image - Polka Dot House 2.

I recently got some Spectrum Noir pencils so I wanted to try blending them out.  It actually was really fun, but I need more colors!!  lol....  What else is new right?

Riley Mushroom

These images are big enough to stand alone on cards, but I did add some enamel dots and a cute lil gnome that Tanya had given me.

I think he works perfect on this cute lil house.

Thanks for visiting today.  Make sure you check out the Riley Blog for more inspiration from the other ladies!!

Rainbow Sketch CHallenge

I shared how I created this card is the video below.  I wanted to play with the sketch challenge at The Paper Players this week.  I thought it looks simple and perfect for our larger Funny Bones sentiments.

I also wanted to have some rainbow on there with my distress inks.  My original plan didn't work out like I wanted it to.  So plan B went into effect and I'm just as happy!

Riley & Co Team Post | New Valentine Cards

Valentine Card Making is winding down now that the holiday is nearing.  However, I have a couple more cards to share today with you!

I am up on the Riley & Co Blog today along with MooseMates Joy &  Lisa!  Check out their creations today too!!

Both of my cards feature our newest Dress Up Riley stamps and dies.

On the first one, I actually just used the Valentine Accessories set and stamped the conversation hearts.  Added a bit of distress inks to the background and some sequins and I'm done with a super easy card!

Team Post 2 - Riley

The second one is a little softer even, featuring both Riley's from the Dress Up Set.   I paired them up with the love heart from the accessories set and the sentiment below.  How cute are they?  Perfect for Valentine giving!!

I've enjoyed sharing all of it with you this week and I appreciate all the love I've gotten as well!

Today I have a couple more creations from the Dress Up Riley set.  A couple of things I really wanted to make when playing with them!!

Riley Jan release 1b

This funny bone sentiment was perfect for adding a cute lil bow tie to the Riley image.  Paired with some bold print papers and the card turned out great!

This one was also one I needed to make.  This sentiment was from last release, but when I saw the sombrero, I knew I needed to make this card.

Riley Jan release 1c

The team has really have great fun with this set as well, so make sure you visit the Riley Blog to see more ideas from this set!

My last card is similar to the one I posted Monday.  I started out with this card, but didn't want to add the shaker part.  So this card features some faux snow and makes a great shaker card for winter.

I used the new Dress Up Riley, heat embossed him and water colored him.  I stamped the new Funny Bones Sentiment Craftaholic, and die cut with one of the Word Bubble Dies.

This fun paper is pretty bold but perfect for the painted/crafter type look I wanted.  I ended the card with some sequins and it was perfect!!

New Mushroom Lane | Riley & Co Release

Hi crafty friends!!  I hope you are enjoying Release Week with Riley & Co Stamps!

We have a great bundle of Mushroom Lane stamps releasing this week too!  I wanted to test out some other coloring mediums with mine this month!  I got a few Prismacolor pencils so these cards are my test products.  wink

1-19 Riley Release

The Tree Stump House has to be my favorite Mushroom Lane house so far.  I love that big ole flower and the fun wood stump.  I think as a little girl, I would have spent time pretending this was someone's home.  Maybe that is why I can envision this image in color.

The Mushroom Lane images are fairly large for cardmaking, so I like to keep the rest of the cards pretty simple.  I matted House 3 on some green and then a kraft base.  I die cut the scalloped frame in green as well and laid it on top of everything.  I love the way that finished off a fun colored card.

1-20 riley

I also wanted to see what these images would look like if I colored them on kraft.  I like how this image turned out.  I added some layers and ran the white through the Big Shot with aa Chevron embossing folder.  Then added some color with sequins.

January Release

There are 5 new Mushroom Lane images, and you can bundle them all up for $45!!  That is a great deal!  Make sure that you check out all of the New Release HERE on the store!

Riley Release 1-17

I thought this sentiment was very fun and warming, so I wanted to keep it pretty. After I stamped it, I cut it out with this Word Bubble Die.

I am in love with the corrugated papers, so I  was happy to add that to the card front, with some black twine and a few fun hearts.  The grey and black heart are from the Riley Paper Dolls Accessories pack.  And I found the wood veneer in my stash.

Valentine Riley + Mojo Monday

Hey again friends!! My card today features Riley Moose (Couch Riley) and I am playing along with the sketch at Mojo Monday.

I just got some new papers (part of my January Clique Kit) and I thought they were fun to use for Valentine Cards.  I set up a little Valentine Card station in my craft room to have things handy for making more Valentine's this year.  I didn't send out Christmas Cards, so I am going to try to get Valentine's out instead.

  Mojo Monday Riley & Co

I stamped Riley and colored with Copics to match the paper colors.  I used an old heart doily and some of my favorite corrugated cardstock.  I matted the image panel with frosted acetate and popped it up.  I finished it off with some embellishments and it was pretty darn cute!

For the sketch, I actually flipped it so the doily would work better.

Do You Hear the Music? | Riley & Co Stamps

Hi all!!  Welcome back!  I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  The first one after a full week of the New Year!

Today I am sharing on the Riley & Co blog along with my fellow Moosemates Heidi, Joy and Lisa!  Check out all of their great projects today!!

This is one of mine that I'm sharing on the blog today.  I loved this sentiment Shark Music, from the last release.  It just cracked me up.  I do love Jaws, and enjoy Shark Week on TV.  And I always love to hum the Jaws theme music.

1-10 Riley

This was a super simple card to make. I used the template I created from a border die and inked up the background.  Then I heat embossed the sentiment to make it stand out.  I created a fun shark fin just by drawing it and coloring it.

You can see the whole video here.  Enjoy!
