Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps

Prickley Pear Stamps | Team Post

Hi guys!!  I am back with some fun cards from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.

Tanya is so generous with her goodies, we got a huge box of fun stuff to play with and I have had a great time.  These butterflies are so awesome!!

PPRS Team 1

I used the butterfly die to die cute this awesome new acetate sheets that I bought.  It's got some fun teal polka dots and it was almost too pretty to use.  HA!  I also stamped a butterfly from Butterflies 2 and die cut it from vellum. Then I used the hole left on the purple sheet to frame it.

I also used up  Blobby Flowers   and coordinating dies to add some more color to it and finished it off with a sentiment and some black enamel dots.

I am so excited to share this with a friend for their birthday.

For my second card today, I was playing with the Spring Scalloped Circle set and had stamped and die cut the scalloped circle.  I wanted some fun patterned paper but nothing I had was really working for me.  So I created my own with the same circle stamp.  It was so much fun creating, but I am not a good precision stamper.

I did add some patterned paper and and fun, frilly ribbon to the bottom.

That is all for today!!

The first card is for the weekly challenge at The Paper Players.  This was a fun sketch to play with !!

Coffee Lovers Sketch Challenge | Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps

Hi ya Feiends!!

Welcome to the Monday/Tuesday of the week for those of you who had yesterday off.  I ENJOYED the heck right out of that day.  Stayed in my PJs til almost noon, and enjoyed my coffee.  We did have to do some chores like laundry, but I'm ok with it.  And ended the day with some pizza.

So I am ready to take today.  But not without some coffee.

Or tea in the case of today's card.

Coffee Sketch

This card is actually for the Coffee Lovers Sketch on their blog. I loved the look of the cups along the side.  And I've been wanting to play with my water color techniques and heat embossed the Prickley Pear Stamps cups with clear EP.  Then I watercolored them with a rainbow effect down the side of the card.

I felt then, it was only fitting to leave everything else black and white.  Oh, and some gold.

I couldn't find a sentiment that I loved until I went back to my Simon Says set from the latest card kit.    So it's tea related, but I am ok with that.  wink

I stamped it on a banner die from the PPRS banner die set. The stamps are the PPRS Coffee Cup set.  I think next time I try this technique, I will go bolder with my colors, but I do love this look.  Super easy.

I hope you all enjoy your day!  Looking forward to a short week here!

Hello again everyone!!

If you are looking for a Faith Friday post, please come back on Sunday - I am up for Heart of Worship so I will share then!!

Yesterday, I shared a fun fold card for the Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Designer Highlight day.  Today I am sharing the Explosion Box to go along with it!!  And I am sharing below, how I created it, with today's video.

I used the same papers although I added a couple richer colors with the 12x12 papers.

But I also used the Cupcake Dies and Valentine Cupcake Builder set

For the inside, you can go as wild as you want.  I really wanted to add some banners hanging down to really celebrate the birthday!

I also created a cute lil cake using a tea light.  I saw this once online and am so excited to get to share it with you today!!

PPRS DH 2-9b

There are lots of great layers to this box, and decorating them can be the best part.  I kept things pretty simple as this will be a display piece for PPRS.

Here is today's video:

Thanks so much for watching!!  I hope that you all have a great weekend!  Remember to check back on Sunday for Heart of Worship.

Cupcake Fun Fold | Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps | Designer Highlight | Day 1

Hi crafty friends!!  Today I am sharing as part of the Prickley Pear Designer Highlight post on their blog.  It's only on their blog today, but I'm breaking it up into Two Days on my blog because I really want to highlight both projects and videos!

I am excited to share my project with you today as well.

As you know, I love creating different and interactive cards just as much as the plain "one-fold" cards.  I love shaking things up a little bit and adding one more cool thing to the creation.  So today's card is no different.  It just adds a couple extra folds and boom, you have a fun, and interesting card.

Check out the video to see how to make this card yourself!

PPRS RElease 20

I am using the Build A Cupcake Valentine Stamp set, from the recent release.  I also used the coordinating dies found HERE.

I also brought in a Riley Sentiment called Abs are Great.  How funny is this?  It's so me!!

Another fun card to share today with you!  I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoy sharing them with you!!

Have a great day!!

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps | Banner Dies | Extending your Dies

Hi all!!

Today I am sharing some more Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps goodness.  Something I've been wanting to try out ever since I got the Banner Dies from PPRS.  Using them in various ways!  So I created a quick tip video for you guys to get some ideas on stretching your die use!

Check out the video and then check out the still shots of today's card.

I dug in my Valentine Creative Station, and pulled out some fun papers.  As shown in the video, I created a pop up, double ended banner to stamp my sentiment on.

PPRS 2-2-17

Having multiple uses or ideas for your products always makes me feel like my money is going further when it comes to stamping and creating.  So I hope that I gave you new ideas and hopefully you can look at products you already have and see how you can stretch them as well.

So now, you can just enjoy this paper.  WOW.  Beautiful.

Thank you for stopping in today and checking out my project!  Enjoy your day friends!!

PPRS Release | Irish Blessings

Somewhere, Over the Rainbow.....

I'm not singing for you all today, but wanting to share some fun stuff!! We also have a great release this week that fits into your St. Patrick's Day and Irish Love card giving!!  5 new Rubber Stamps that you can grab as a bundle for only $32!!

First up, is my card featuring the Pot o' Gold stamp.  I really wanted a rainbow look on this card.   And bling.  lol....  I colored the image and gave it some gold glow in the background.  Then I cut stripes of papers to make a rainbow and finished with rainbow, sparkly enamel dots.

PPRS Release 1-25

I love the whimsy of this card.  And yes, I used more Wink of Stella on the leaves and pot.  lol...

One of the Clear Sets released this week, Spring/Easter Banner set, has a fun St. Patrick's day banner in it.  I love St. Patrick's Day and we usually celebrate by wearing green and eating/drinking only green things.  Just something fun to do.

PPRS Release-5

Also in this release is the Large Cross that is part of the Easter Bundle.  I created a water color background and heat embossed the cross on vellum in white.  I think this makes a great embellishment piece, but also a great focal point for your cards.  The sentiment is part of the Easter Banner set.

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Release | Easter Images

Welcome back friends!!

Today I am sharing a card featuring a couple of the Easter images releasing this week.

I am sharing from the Easter/Spring Clear set and this cute image is called Bunny Cart.  How fun is it?!!!

PPRS Easter

I created the card front and die cut a circle in it, and stamped the image on the inside the card.  I added the banner on the side with some twine.  Everything was colored with Copics.

I didn’t add a sentiment, I wanted to leave room for the writing.  But I love the peek a boo effect of this card!!

PPRS Release - Build A Cupcake Set

Welcome back!!  Here are some more of the New Release from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.

We have two new Banner Dies and a Valentine version of the Build A Cupcake set.  They coordinate with previously released dies for both the banners and the cupcakes.

PPRS Release 1-26

I wanted to create a look of a cake pedestal for this cupcake to sit on.  You can see in the video below how I did that.

These are great go to stamps to have.   I paired with the sentiment from the Valentine Banner set and this is a perfect card to give a loved one.

Here is today's video to show how I created this card.

Don't forget to stop into the Shop today and check out the New Release section of the shop.   Thanks for visiting me this week for another amazing release form PPRS!!

Prickley Pear Stamp Release Week | Valentine Rubber

Hi friends!!  Last week was so busy with the Riley Release, and now this week is going to be full of inspiration for the Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps release!!

I will have posts all week showing some of my fun projects using the new goodies!  But really, there is always WAY too much stuff to fit it all in one week!  So next week I'll be posting from both companies on the things that I didn't share this week.

So, first up, we have lots of new Rubber Stamps from PPRS.  And I was drawn to this one, called Love Birds,  the cutest owl lovies out there!!

PPRS Release 1-23

I stamped them and heat embossing them with black EP.  Then I added some reds and pink distress inks.  I wanted an ombre look to the panel.  I got some paper from my Valentine Card Station and also added some black twine and some gems.

It's very Valentine ready.

Valentine cards can't be made with out hearts.  We have three great heart stamps releasing this week as well.  The Small, Medium and Large Swirl hearts are HERE in the shop.

PPRS Release 7

I started with a great water color background, and heat embossed the heart over it.  The sentiment is from the new clear set, Love Banner Set, which I stamped on vellum and stapled to the front.

This is a super simple card to recreate!

This image is so big and bold.  I kept thinking of a tattoo.  But then I thought of the fun Chalkboard designs that are out there and thought this would work perfect.

PPRS Release 1-24

I just stamped in white ink, but embossing it would work too.  Then I sponged the edges of the black CS to give it the dusty chalkboard look.  I flipped the CS over and used my scoring board to score some lines around the top three sides.

On the bottom, I added some read sequin ribbon and a red sparkly button and black twine.  Simple.

Make sure you check out the New Release section of the store, and venture out to the blog as well this week for more inspiration.

So, along with the release are some great specials!
