Summer is Here!

Hi friends!!

Summer vacation is here and we are ready.  It’s going to be a busy one, but then again, what else is new?

I wanted to update you all to a few things.   I share a week or so ago on Facebook – where I’m mostly communicating now – that I was moving the crafty world into our cabin to use for my projects and classes.  I’m super excited about it for summer!

Also I mentioned my dad is having surgery.  I will be out of town for most of next week – May 29-June 4 – while the surgery happens.  Due to that, I wasn’t planning on too much until I knew when that would be.  Now I’ve got my June schedule planned will post that here on the blog asap!

I put my Etsy Store on vacation until the end of July.  I will be working on projects and will either post them here or on Facebook.  But I will have two vendor shows in July and I will then open Etsy back up with what is left and move on from there.

In the mean time, I’m excited to get back to my Chalky parties and will get more projects prepped to share online for you all.  Be sure you check Facebook or follow me on Instagram.

Now, here is some fun stuff.  A couple weeks ago – it seems like forever with everything going on – my friend and I roadtripped over to a Rescued and Reclaimed Flea Market.  It was AWESOME!!!  The stuff and the ideas.  It was right up our alley.

McKinley wants to play clarinet, so I found this one for her.  It was a lamp, but it might work?

So many creative ideas.  I wanted to show the boys and see if they would use their imagination and make a few things.

This was out motherload!!   lol….  But the ideas were more than enough!!

We have been chasing the boys to baseball and last weekend was the last Middle School track meet for RC.  And this week, McKinley started softball.

I love baseball, so I don’t mind those games.

And this week, we celebrated RC’s 8th grade certification and he’s ready for high school.  Time is moving along so fast!  Next fall, I’ll have Senior, Freshman and 5th grader.   Pass the Kleenex.

First is 2 Step Stamping and second is the Rock N Roll Technique.

Here are the two fun cards I created.  I used some basic Kraft cardstock as the base, and paired with papers from the La Vie En Rose paper packs.

That is all from me for the weekend.  We are busy Sunday - so much for enjoying a weekend peeps!  HA!  Oh well... Gotta love life!

Tomorrow the February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop goes live, so make sure you pop back here Tuesday AM for that.  The Bazaar was great, but I have some cards and I think the best way if to put them on Etsy.  So that is my plan for this week.  Get them up there!

For now, enjoy YOUR weekend!

This week I am adding some cute lil crayon bags.  I found these HERE on this blog, Petite Lemon.  I’d like to make some more and donate them to our church for kids during the services.

But for now, I’ve got a few to add to my shop.  (Click the link or find my shop in the sidebar <----)

These are a couple of the Monster Bags that are available.

Each bag is about 10” by 12” and can hold a couple coloring books.  The crayons then fit in the mouth and act as teeth.  I think they are super cute!!

Here is a close up of one of the monster’s.

This is the bull dog.  There is also a cute robot.

So, go check them out in my etsy shop today!!

I’ve got some new things in my Etsy shop this week. Hoping to add more as the week goes along.  Head over here to check out the shop or you can always find it in my sidebar <------

Shamrock Banner 1

These are made from papers and ribbon.  I die cut the hearts and added them to the banner sheets.  Then I created the banner with the ribbon.

Shamrock Banner 2

I’ve also been waiting to get this done for awhile.

This apron is so fun – I just love the colors.  I bought some premade aprons and added the fabric to create the ruffled effect.

I think I could just look at the colors!!

I’ll be working on more items this week and making some more cards as well.

Thanks for visiting.

A Banner Friday

Hi!!  I have had a busy week and it’s only been three days really.  Makes me happy today is Friday and I am home ALL DAY!  Looking forward to a lazy weekend at home, and in order for that to happen I need to take care of this crazy house!!  Yikes!!

However, before that I wanted to pop on and visit with you all.  Grab something warm and settle in.

Today is my second of 2 Creative Friday posts over on the Memory Works blog.  I have a few fun and cheery cards over there, as well as the rest of this layout.  Head over HERE to check them out.

Before you go (or after you visit the MW blog) I wanted to share a couple banners with you.

This isn’t the best photo – I could only get a good one at night. But this is the banner my SIL, Lindsey made me for Christmas.  I was so happy I put it up the next day and never took a photo.  Sorry Lindsey – I really do love it!!

Here is an OK shot in the day time.

When I was at Lindsey’s house this weekend, I got to dive into her stash of fabric and made this fun banner for my room.  I think I have a new addiction… I want one everywhere!!  Open-mouthed smile

Speaking of Lindsey, she has opened her own Etsy shop and it’s full of super cute items.

Check it out HERE – On Hope Road.  I’ve seen all her goods in person and they are awesome.  I love that she is selling whatever she makes at the time – it’s so full of fun!!

OK, I best get going – I wanna get my chores done so I can play and make some eye candy for you all for next week!!

TGIF – Thanks for stopping by PEEPS!!
