Hello there – hoping you all had a Merry Christmas. I am coming out of hibernation to play with Karen’s Sweet Sketch Sunday – 200th Sketch. Of all the challenges, I’ve always long admired Karen’s sketches as well as her creations themselves. So when I had some free time last week, and saw her post, I wanted to play.
I used some super fun papers from My Minds Eye, and a chalkboard technique on the sentiment panel. Very fun and simple.
We have had a very busy fall here at the Skiff house, plus throwing in going back to work. But since I was off for the break and ready for Christmas, I got to play around a little in my craft room. I am hoping to find or MAKE time for more crafty things in 2014. Whether or not I get them posted will be a different story. I have enjoyed not having to blog so much, but I do miss talking to you all.
I am going to spend tomorrow working on my Project Life and December Daily, but am happy to report I will be caught up with both after that. (It’s supposed be only be 14* above tomorrow.)
I don’t normally have resolutions, but GOALS rather for the new year. I think it’s a good time to reflect on what you did or didn’t do in the previous year and then start fresh with the new year.
- Send more Birthday/Anniversary, etc cards. I make them, but never get them to the ones who are really important to me. Sorry Peeps!
- Keep up on Project Life. I may not do a weekly schedule like I have in the past, but more so just go with what we do when we do it.
- Take more photos with my DSLR. My iPod and iPad photos aren’t always great. I want to capture more in a better format.
- I have a few more personal ones that I need to get written down and then I’ll share them.
I will be back Monday with the final post of my December Daily album.
