Hey everyone – I wanted to pop in and visit with you a bit about the quietness of the blog. Grab a cuppa coffee and let’s chat.
I started out the year hopeful and full of ideas for movement in the blog. One of my main blog goals was more quality content in my blog posts. And less frequency in the posting. However, by the end of January, I am thinking differently and wanting to change something. Not sure exactly what or why, I put in some thoughts and prayers on the subject.
I’ve been so blessed in my paper crafting hobby over the years. The Design Teams, the publication, the friends I’ve made and met in person and online. The time I’ve spent with my local ladies, as well as the sales from my cards. I have loved it all, and I still look forward to that part. But the blogging part of it has become a bit of frustration for me.
I finally felt some freedom when I realized I didn’t need to post every card I was making. I felt like I was creating for the blog and doing so in a quick manner that left my cards lack luster and my time rushed to get them done, edited and posted. I had no real deadlines other than the ones I’d set for myself.
I wasn’t sure if this was just a phase or rut that I was in, so I spent some time working on other projects. Sewing, and home projects I’d wanted to do. I realized I’d kept putting them off to worry about the blog or my card sales. So I decided it was time for some change.
I have, however, missed the chats with you all. I will continue to post, but there will be no more regular or daily posting. It’s going to be sporadic and fun for me. I hope that you stick around and enjoy. It will be mostly paper crafting, but I will probably add in some of the other projects I’m working on as well. I will keep the family stuff to the family blog.

Thank you all for coming to visit me over the years. I look forward to keeping up with you all still. (Less blogging time will free up time to visit you and comment.)
Also note, that this will not affect my work with MemoryWorks. My assignments do not require a lot of work on my blog so I’m still good there!!
Love you all!!
