I’m so excited with the start of PL here in my Craft Dept. I signed up for the Studio Calico Project Life kit and was so happy with it. I have a hoarding problem, but I told myself I need to actually use this stuff as next month another kit will arrive to use!! Studio Calico has quality goods and their packaging makes me happy too!! So check it out HERE.
I also pulled out my December Memory Works Express kit – well what was left of it.
I used up most of this to create some pre-made cards for the album that you will see over the course of the year. I love the bright colors.
I cut the cardstock to 4” by 6” and then used the extra papers and stickers to create some journaling cards.
I also pulled out some Grid Journaling cards and decorated them with smaller scraps.
I had to pull a few other papers from scraps too, but they matched pretty well.
COVER PAGE
I had the cover page ready, but I pulled a few things and added a few more. I got an email from Simple Stories with a Sn@p Freebie and I printed it off and used it in the top right corner. For the cover page, I used photos from our Christmas with my family.
I also picked up some brushes from Ali Edwards for 2013 along the left side of this photo.
WEEK 1
Lots of Sn@p papers here. Even a pocket with a journaling card for back to school. Also in the bottom right, one of the pre-made cards I made above.
This clear “make something today” was in the Studio Calico kit, and perfect as we had a lil craft party with our Kiwi Crate.
Lots of Studio Calico kit items here.
These letter stickers and word bubble are from Studio Calico’s Darling Dear Alpha set.
A few fun things on here from the kit – love the rainbow sunburst on the journaling card. The flair is from SC Fact and Fiction.
Inlinkz is now charging, so I have tried my best to link up what I could. Please let me know if you are curious about something I used. I went through my goods and have a lot in my stash to use up this year. But plan on seeing more Sn@p and more Studio Calico and Memory Works’ kits.
