Oh we need to hear that on a Monday morning right? I know I do especially in the morning. Did you have a good weekend? We got to stick close to home which was very nice – we needed a lazy weekend. I think even the kids’ needed to just hang out, play some games, some legos and just be at home for a bit.
Well, they are off for the week and we’ve got to get going on the To-Do list here at home.
I finally got back to playing with my weekly challenges – including this sketch from Jen’s Deconstructed Sketch. She’s having a designer call, and I love her sketches so I wanted to play along.
I pulled out my Carry On set from Stampin’ Up! and tried my hand at the chalkboard effect again. I used some white craft ink to rub around to give it more of the effect.
I pulled out papers from Authentique’s Blissful Bundle, because I love the yellows, greys and black. I die cut the little flags on the side and stitched them on, finishing it with some ribbon, button and twine.
I’ve got a few things to share this week. I’m starting on Valentine’s – yes, I know!! Plus the first of the 2013 Project Life album. I’m also working on some videos this week, hoping to post the first one Friday.
