Well, that is a scary post title… for me anyway! lol I am was so far behind!! Like, the last time I worked on Project Life was in, um, May. Maybe. Yeah… so far behind.
However, my son had his tonsils out Thursday and I knew that I’d be home all weekend playing nurse to him. So thought it was a perfect time to get caught up. I set out by printing off photos. I loaded up the flash drive, headed to the coffee shop and printed out over 100 pics! Yikes!!
I went with simple is best theme as I worked away on these. I wanted to get them done, and that was more important than making it pretty. I hope that from now on I can keep up with that. These are pages from the first week of school. I ordered some smaller 4x4 pics taken on Instagram and when they come in, I’ll add them to the pages.
I am currently caught up through this week with the exception of the above photos that I need to add. YAY!!
I was able to get a new printer this last week. I’d previously had a Kodak model, and it printed out the best photos for me. Until it didn’t. Then it printed out crappy photos for awhile. And eventually, it wouldn’t print at all. I replaced ink, clean the heads, you name it. It didn’t work. I also had not been able to print form my laptop either for quite some time. I had two USB ports and the kids managed to bust them both, by slamming USB cords in them until they broke. Mama gets annoyed at these things.
So, we picked up a Canon PIXMA printer, copier, faxer. We don’t need the fax. It was listed at $89.00 but it rang up at $69.00. SA-weet. So I hooked it up and got it working WIRELESSLY!! I can now print from my computer.
Guess what else? There’s an APP for that. Yes. An app!! So I downloaded it, and all the photos we take on the iPod, iPad or if we owned an iPhone, can print wireLESSly to the printer! Oh Em Geeeeee!!! I take a lot of photos on my iPod, so I love that I can then just hit print and it’s waiting for me when I go to work on Project Life.
I’m setting up a new PL goal to get them done weekly or at least bi-weekly. I think that is reasonable now that fall is here. So I will share more with you as I go.
