Hey there!! Today is my first post with the Drunken Stampers Challenge blog. Make sure you head over there and play along with us!!
Our challenge this week is The Birds. Use some some of bird theme on your project!! (Don’t think of the old scary Hitchcock movie… that’ll scare ya!!)
I grabbed a new set from Stampin’ Up! called For the Birds. I think this is a cute lil set, and I went with a pretty theme for this first week. (I see silliness in my future with this challenge group!!) I used papers from the Echo Park pad, For the Record, drawing my colors for the image from there.
I finished off the card with a strip of white Crochet Ribbon and black vintage seam binding across the card. Then I added a vintage button tied with black twine. This sketch came from this week’s Feeling Sketchy challenge.
My biggest baby, David had his tonsils out Thursday, so we have been taking it easy here at the Skiff Farm. I haven't been crafty all week, but I'm hoping to work on a few things this weekend. Thanks for stopping in!!
