Thanks to the wonderful world of Pinterest, I get all kinds of ideas. I love it.
A couple of my good friends have moved away in the last few years, and I love dropping them notes in the mail from time to time, but I thought a Box of Sunshine would be fun too.
I made these cards for the sketch challenges over at the Verve forums. As soon as I saw this sentiment, I knew that I wanted it to make some Boxes of Sunshine cards. I pulled out all of the yellows and golds in my stash and set to work.
On this card, I saw the circle element of the sketch as a perfect sunbeam.
I also added a sunbeam to this card as well. I am so excited about these cards and sending the boxes off.
Here is one of the boxes all ready to go. I used some golden tissue paper inside the box and have been picking up anything yellow I could find.
This time it’s a yellow scarf, some lotions, and sponge and of course candy.
Hopefully, it will bring some sunshine to my friends!!
