I am excited to be able to play along with this week’s Sparkle Creation’s challenge. I was lucky to get to meet Sparkle in real life in Washington, and she is super sweet.
This week’s challenge is to use numbers. I decided to work a birthday theme into as we have a birthday coming up in the house this month. I can’t believe my baby is going to be 12! Yikes!
I used Sparkle Creations Birthday Josh. I picked this fun Authentique Freebird paper pad, and drew my colors from that. I also liked that the paper had the numbers on it, and it’s very boyish paper.
For the orange number paper, I wanted to do something a bit different. I used Joanne’s trick for extending the MFT Mix and Match Banner dies. I finished it all off by stitching around and then adding this awesome Tim Holtz wooden number.
I recently bought more of these wooden numbers but in red. Well, of course I wanted black and knew that this was the only black one I had. Can you believe it was a 12!! Awesome!
Thanks for popping over!! Have a great day!
