Happy Friday afternoon!! These week zipped by and I bet you all know that makes me happy!! lol... We have been keeping busy this week, so it is all good. We are preparing for RC's birthday party Sunday afternoon as well, and working on his gift.
However, I stopped to play with some new MFT images, including this new PI girl, My Little Firecracker.
I love the 4th of July, for all it stands for and for the special time spent with family and friends. It's a nice break in the busy summer where we stop and relax together. Usually, we have lots of family here then, but this year, it's just going to be us. That is OK too...
This lil girl is so cute with her lil gingham dress, paper pieced on. THe paper is from The Shabby Green Door, something new I found online. Perfect for the 4th. I addeds some stars diecut with my AMuse dies, as well as a precut die from some MME paper. I colored the rest of the girl with my Copics and her sparkler with Copic Spica glitter markers.
I also added a ruffle of red satin ribbon stitched across the middle.
I've also been scrapbooking some this week, getting my albums caught up. I need to get get some more pictures printed off before I can go further. However, party preperations are under way, so it will wait til next week.
I'd like to promise I'll be better at blogging next week, but well, I can't.... summer is just too busy! lol...
Enjoy your weekend!!
