TSG Swap Cards
Sweet Sunday Sketch

Be Happy!

Hello!  Hope everyone is ready for the week!  We had a good weekend here while Greg was gone.  I am anxious for him to get home and hear about the game tho.  I started getting a head cold Friday that I still have today.  Blech.  But we had a great weekend.

Yesterday, we all had our seperate places to play for awhile so I took advantage of making a couple cards.

IMG_2462 I made this for a new challenge I am following.  I've seen many of the bloggers I follow playing along over at the Curtain Call color challenges. This week the colors looked so bright and fun.  They were Bermuda Bay, Chocolate Chip, White and Tangerine Tango.

I reached for an older stamp.  This is Grattytude from Stamping Bella.  I colored with my Copics.  I used the above colors in Cardstock with exception of the Bermuda Bay.  For that color I used papers from the Sweet Pea pack.  I trimmed the bottom cardstock with my MFT Notebook Edge die.  I also used a new MFT die, rolled rose with MFT felt.  It matched perfect.

To finish I added some satin brown ribbon.  Then I added the sentiment that comes with this stamp and used my tag corner punch on the corners.

IMG_2461I also wanted to break in some other new MFT dies.  I didn't have any Snowflake dies, so I was happy to add this one to my stash.  I was also inking up another new MFT PI stamp, Don't Open Until.  I paper pieced it and colored with my Copics.

This is also Jen's SFYTT sketch from Saturday.  I cut the oval with my Nesties.  The papers I used are from a Basic Grey's Jovial pad.  Perfect for holiday cards.  {I am not ready for snow!!}  I stamped the sentiment on my wide ribbon and wrapped it around.  It looks ok, but it's hard to look at.  Makes my eyes wonky!  lol

That is all for now.  Thank you for popping over!
